Under this year’s theme of “Investment. Innovation. Impact”, the Clean Cooking Forum 2019 featured interactive plenary and breakout discussions with global leaders in the sector, business-to-business matchmaking, site visits, and an innovation expo showcasing some of the most state-of-the-art clean cooking solutions. Forum sessions explored critical topics such as creative financing and investment opportunities; emerging business models; enabling policies; new technologies and innovative approaches; best practices for successful clean cooking behavior change interventions; and strategies to strengthen the inclusion of women throughout the clean cooking value chain.

The Forum took place from November 5-7 at the Radisson Blu hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Clean Cooking Alliance works with a global network of partners to build an inclusive industry that makes clean cooking accessible to the three billion people who live each day without it. Established in 2010, the Alliance is driving consumer demand, mobilizing investment to build a pipeline of scalable businesses, and fostering an enabling environment that allows the sector to thrive. Clean cooking transforms lives by improving health, protecting the climate and the environment, empowering women, and helping consumers save time and money.
