Who should attend the Forum?

The Clean Cooking Forum 2019 is a unique opportunity to accelerate the investment, innovation, partnerships, political commitments, and policies needed to achieve universal access to clean cooking by 2030. Any experienced and new partners committed to advancing a sustainable clean cooking industry at scale are encouraged to attend.

What is the registration process?

You may register for the Clean Cooking Forum 2019 here. Before 1 October 2019, participation in the Forum is contingent on a USD 300 “early bird” registration fee. After 1 October, the fee increases to USD 400. The registration fee for the Forum includes entry to all breakout and plenary sessions, meals (lunch, coffee breaks, and a welcome reception), the Innovation Expo, and B2B matchmaking. Please note that this registration fee does not include transportation to Nairobi, hotel accommodations, or site visits. I am experiencing technical issues with the attendee registration form. Who should I contact?

What is the visa process?

Please refer to the Destination page for information on applying for an ordinary/single entry/tourist visa.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

You must contact registration@plumeconsultants.com no later than 1 October to cancel your registration. For cancellations made by 1 October, your registration fee will be refunded (minus the 4% processing fee).

In the event that I am not able to attend the Forum anymore, can I transfer my registration to another individual within my organization?

Yes. You may amend your confirmation email with a different registrant name by emailing registration@plumeconsultants.com.

Can I register for the Forum on-site?

No. All registrations must be processed online.

If I am a member of the press, can I obtain a press pass?

Yes. Media inquiries should be sent to media@cleancookingalliance.org.

Are registration discounts available?

The “early bird” registration fee is USD 300. After 1 October, the fee increases to USD 400.

Is the Alliance offering scholarships for partners?

Please contact registration@plumeconsultants.com to inquire about potential scholarships.

I would like to inquire about alternative forms of payment since I am not able to pay by credit card. Who can I contact to help facilitate this request?

Who should I contact for assistance on booking accommodation?

Participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. Please find a listing of suggested hotels near the Forum here, under “Accommodation.” Speakers may request assistance on booking accommodations by contacting registration@plumeconsultants.com.

I would like to participate in the Innovation Expo. How can I indicate my interest?

If you would like to display products, services, and other approaches at the Innovation Expo, please indicate your interest through the Innovation Expo registration form. There are a limited number of available display areas. The Alliance will allocate spaces based on the selection criteria listed here. Please note that all shipping costs and necessary storage of cookstoves, fuels, and other materials will be the responsibility of the exhibitor. There is no cost to display products at the Expo but all participants must be registered to attend the Forum.

I’m interested in participating in a site visit. Where can I find out more information?

The Alliance is pleased to provide Forum participants with a selection of site visits to showcase the wide range of fuels, technologies, and business models that some of our partners and grantees are employing in Kenya. All site visits will take place in the greater Nairobi area. Participation will require a small fee to cover lunch and bus travel. When site visit information is available, all Forum participants will be notified via e-mail; additional information will also be shared here as it becomes available. For any questions on booking site visit travel, please contact registration@plumeconsultants.com.

What is the dress code for the Forum?

The Alliance recommends that attendees observe a business casual dress code. Lunches will be served outdoors so please plan accordingly with cool attire.
