Biography
Caroline Adongo Ochieng is an Energy Specialist at World Bank ESMAP, on secondment from the National University of Ireland Galway through a Marie Curie Fellowship. Her current research is focused on understanding behavioral determinants of adoption of clean cooking technologies and fuels using mixed methods. Before secondment to the World Bank, she was a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute in Sweden where she designed, implemented, and performed evaluations of various energy access and health projects in low-income countries. Caroline holds a Ph.D. in Public Health and Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine as well as a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Kenyatta University.
