Elizabeth Muchiri

Elizabeth Muchiri is an LPG Business Consultant, and the current Kenya Country Manager for Global LPG Partnership. In this role, she liaises with stakeholders in the LPG sector in seeking ways of increasing access to clean cooking through policy, regulatory, consumer education and micro-finance, and other interventions.

Elizabeth is well versed with both technical and commercial aspects of LPG. Her interest in LPG was developed at BOC Kenya Ltd, where, in 2000, she sought to specialize in LPG after gaining valuable experience in the entire gas business. She has since worked in private and public companies, developing and implementing strategies that have led to the successful rollouts of several LPG brands in Kenya.

In addition to training as Mathematics and Physic teacher, Elizabeth holds an M.B.A. in Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship from Strathmore University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management) from the University of South Africa.
