Eric Reynolds is Founder and CEO of Inyenyeri, a clean cooking fuel utility company delivering clean biomass cooking solutions to Rwanda’s poorest households through a for-profit model. The Inyenyeri stove plus pellet fuel system is creating a world beyond charcoal, where the three billion people who cook with traditional biomass every day have the opportunity to can save time and money, and enjoy improved quality of life, through renewable energy for cooking.

Inyenyeri’s solution cuts household air pollution by over 95%, uses 90% less wood than charcoal, and costs households 30% less. Rural families trade raw biomass for pellet fuel in an innovative barter system, saving hours of time every single day.

A successful serial entrepreneur (co-founder of Marmot, Sweetwater, and Nau) and accomplished alpinist, Reynolds brings a relentless commitment to public health and customer service to everything Inyenyeri does. He met his wife Mariam Uwizeyimana in Rwanda, where they live with their two sons.
