Biography
Mr. Mohammed Aminu Lukumanu is Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Alliance for Clean Cookstoves and Fuels. Mr. Lukumanu is a Development Practitioner with 20 years of experience, specializing in monitoring and evaluation, policy advocacy, decentralized governance management, civil society development, and programme design and management. His professional practice cuts across the energy sector, water and sanitation, agriculture, education, and public sector management. Mr. Lukumanu has served in different capacities in a number of organizations, including SNV-USA, WaterAid, Management Systems International, Care International, ActionAid Ghana, and Institute for Policy Alternatives. Mr. Lukumanu has a special interest in human rights, gender equality, social inclusion, women’s empowerment and social accountability. He is currently leading national advocacy and campaigning for the universal adopting of clean cooking in Ghana. Mr. Lukumanu holds Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Development Studies, a Master of Arts in Development Studies, and a Master of Business Administration.
