Biography

Natalie Ndunda has served in the Kakuma sub-office of UNHCR’s Kenya operations since 2016. Her primary duty is ensuring coordination among all actors concerned with planning a response to refugee-related environmental and energy issues in the field office, as well as implementation of environmental projects, including those related to clean cooking. She also liaises with technical sectors (shelter, sanitation, water, livelihoods, energy, etc.) with a view to minimizing environmental impacts associated with projects and activities and works to maintain a network of strategic partnerships between UNHCR and relevant government, NGO, and UN agencies – ensuring complementary gains in assessment, design, and implementation of environmental programs.
