Biography
Paula Edze works with the Energy Commission of Ghana as the National Coordinator for the UN Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) Initiative implementation in Ghana. She has over 10 years of work experience in the energy sector, first in the civil society space and now in the public sector. Paula has been involved in the formulation and implementation of energy sector policies, plans, and programmes, including the drafting of the Renewable Energy Act 2011 (Act 832), the Bioenergy Policy (draft), the Renewable Energy Master Plan of Ghana (2019).
Paula is currently leading in the development of a Standards and Labelling Scheme for efficient biomass cookstoves in Ghana, and supporting the development of Woodfuel regulations for Ghana.
