Biography

Dr. Robert Bright Mawuko Sogbadji is Deputy Director, Nuclear and Alternative Energy Coordinator, Ghana Nuclear Power Program. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Master of Philosophy degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Ghana. He currently holds a Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Nuclear Physics from the Université de Paris-Sud XI awarded him in 2012.

He possesses substantial knowledge and experience in Energy dynamics in Ghana. He is the Policy Analyst on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Conservation and issues on climate change at the Ministry of Energy in the Renewable and Nuclear Energy Directorate of Ghana. He is also a Principal lecturer at the University of Ghana.

He has attended and represented the country on numerous trainings, workshops, and conferences on Energy within and outside the country with foci ranging from policy, action planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation among others.
