Ronan Ferguson

Ronan Ferguson is the Manager of Energy Access. Ronan’s geographic remit is sub-Saharan-Africa, with a focus on southern Africa. Ronan’s functional areas are in data and analytics, human-centred design and communication. He was the lead author of the ‘Financing Growth’ report for the Clean Cooking Alliance, released last year. The report called out the importance of data in helping companies better understand their customers, and in helping investors better understand their potential investees. The report also recommended a market acceleration framework be established to assist the sharing of data between stakeholders.

Ronan recently taught an accelerator program to six social enterprises based in Lower-Middle-Income-Countries, which helped the teams explore and identify ways to improve their business models and improve their pitch decks to attract funding for their future growth.
