Ruben Walker

Ruben Walker is the Founder and CEO of African Clean Energy (ACE), a certified B-Corp social enterprise operating in Lesotho, Uganda, and Cambodia, with its global support office situated in Amsterdam. ACE produces and distributes its flagship product, the ACE 1 solar-biomass hybrid energy system, with a business-to-consumer focus on underserved peri-urban and rural households, meeting both their thermal and electrical needs. Its proprietary smartphone integration with the Android mobile platform allows for pay-as-you-go implementation and dynamic impact data collection. Ruben previously worked for mobile internet startup IceMobile, and has an Environmental Engineering degree from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
