Sam Grant

Sam Grant is the East Africa Lead for CLASP. In his role he oversees a diverse portfolio of policy support, research and market innovation programs aimed to promote energy access through greater appliance efficiency and quality. Sam joined CLASP with over ten years of experience working in energy access. He has lived and worked in Papua New Guinea, Mongolia, Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya. Sam previously held leadership roles at the Equity Group Foundation and MicroEnergy Credits. He has worked closely with the cookstove and solar home system sectors and is committed to supporting the delivery of quality energy services.
